AMERICAN POLITICAL SCIENCE ASSOCIATION RECOGNIZES PFS AS A RELATED GROUP

At its convention in Chicago last week, the American Political Science Association accorded the Political Film Society the status of a Related Group. PFS was allowed to sponsor one panel, and the Political Transformation Section co-sponsored a second panel. PFS held a business meeting and a cocktail reception at the convention during September 1-2.

SYLLABUS PROJECT BEGINS

One of the ideas raised at the recent PFS business meeting was to collect, bind, and reproduce syllabi for courses on political films. If you have a syllabus to share, send a copy to the Political Film Society.

WORKING PAPER SERIES LAUNCHED

Thanks to the excellence of papers presented at the American Political Science Association convention in Chicago, papers are to be collected and issued as Working Papers. Titles will be announced in the next Political Film Society Newsletter.
